People are getting used to the new style private plates. When the new style registrations were introduced the ones for sale did not get a good reception, with only the most obvious making any success. As time has gone by the public have become more creative with the seven digits available to spell more and more things. Although they need to use a combination of both letters and numbers in the fixed format of two letters then two numbers, then a space and then three letters. Examples of which could be TH05 MAS for Thomas or  JO51 HUA for Joshua.

Fantastic VW Golf

The VW Golf has once again rejoined the ranks of the automotive world in another carnation; the brand new Volkswagen Golf Mark 6. No sooner had this car been released it had won WhatCar?’s prestigious Car Of The Year award, which has helped to boost sales of this awesome car to enviable highs.

In truth, the car hasn’t changed drastically since its last incarnation, but you can’t help but feel that the mark 6 is more of an optimisation of the Golf than an entirely new rethink of the design. With that in mind, I’d say the new VW Golf was a success.

The Convertible Peugeot

Its coming to the time of year when everybody wants a convertible car, to make the most of the sunshine on those long journeys. In my experience, convertibles don’t come much cooler than the brand new Peugeot 207 CC which combines all the desirable features of Peugeot’s regular 207 with an awesome automatic roof that slots down or up in no time at all.

I bought a brand new Peugeot 207 CC last week and cannot wait for us to finally get some sunshine so I can pop the roof down and go for a spin around the countryside. It is going to be amazing!

Becoming Acquainted with LHD

If you are anything like me, you have nver had the opportunity to rive in Europe.  When I did for the first time, I had the privelige of taking a small tutorial course that gave me the ability to become used to a road system that was different than what I had grown up using.  The LHD car that I used was a beautiful German machine, and I was happy to get used to the way the car handled, and the ways that the roads were different.  It was especially nice to be able to get used to the situation without the family there to make me nervous.
