Little Vans Shoes

November 10, 2009 on 6:35 am | By admin | In Sports

Ever since we were kids, my cousin has been into skateboarding. Over the years we’ve both aged and matured, but the things we liked as kids are still things we like now. I think it’s the neatest thing watching my cousin teach his young son how to skateboard. He even has little vans shoes, and wears them everywhere, just like his dad. While I don’t think either of them are destined for the X-games, it’s great to see a father and son sharing something fun like that. And who knows? Maybe the early start in life will make my cousin’s son a skateboarding star after all!

Smaller paintball guns

November 2, 2009 on 3:12 am | By admin | In Sports

We need volunteers on Recent Changes Patrol. What ever you choose to be your main paintball gun barrel, remember there is always a more consistent barrel out there waiting for you to try it out. Consistency is the most important attribute of your barrel. It will be very interesting to see what innovations are born to combat obstacles created by these smaller paintballs and how they can be applied to.68 balls. The smaller mass will lose the best paintball guns velocity faster and have to be managed more carefully. You could see paintball barrels drop from a common 10-14 inches down to a 6-10 inch. Maintaining a clean smooth bore will be essential to accuracy.

I am Ordering My Own Boxing Equipment

October 19, 2009 on 5:24 am | By admin | In Sports

I have recently become addicted to swinging away at a heavy weight punching bag.  I started going to the gym with my friend and he talked me into giving it a try.  It was a lot of fun for me and now I am ordering my own boxing equipment for my home.  Besides being fun, it is also an awesome workout.  It is so easy to immediately see what boxing can do for your waistline.  After one month, I lost twenty pounds.  I wasn’t even trying to lose the weight.  It just started coming off when I was having fun.

Focusing on Building Muscle Mass With Supplements

October 18, 2009 on 5:10 pm | By admin | In Sports

Most who are focused on creating bulk in their body will also include supplements that can enhance the process of building muscle.  Knowing what works and what doesn’t is the beginning to creating the perfect look for your body.  One of the alternatives that many consider is with Creatine building muscle.  The focus of Creatine is to store water that is in your muscles.  As this is done, your muscles are able to build more strength faster while increasing endurance.  This is done because this natural supplement is able to create energy in the body while muscles contract, making it easier for bulk to appear.  Combining this supplement with exercise and a diet can then help you to build muscle at a faster rate and more effectively.

Do My Exercises Makes Me Jump Higher

October 18, 2009 on 2:12 pm | By admin | In Sports

There are many more exercises out there but this is just a list of the most popular and more often used vertical jump exercises. A good program should include both strength and power training. Strength training includes exercises like lunges or squats. Power training includes exercises like jump drills which require quick and explosive motions. While most NBA basketball players have verticals around 30 inches and upwards of over 40 inches, don’t expect to increase your vertical jump that high. Measure your vertical leap height before starting your program and work at adding an inch at a time. This is a much better plan then just shooting for a 40 inch vertical which may be unattainable.

Lot of Questions

October 17, 2009 on 9:30 am | By admin | In Sports

Our kids get into things that we are unsure about. It’s great that they can think for themselves and try not to be a follower but a leader. When our kids wanted to start snowboarding then we contacted a company that looks like they have been around a long time. When we talked to  k2 snowboards we were really impressed with the amount of information they knew and the willingness to help. As parents we don’t always know what’s best even though we try our hardest. I’m glad I can get good solid answers when I have questions about something I know nothing about.

No Excuses In Sprint Triathlon Training

October 12, 2009 on 5:16 am | By admin | In Sports

I hear a lot of people complain about the reasons that they don’t do anything in life. A person that wants to start a Sprint Triathlon Training program can not make any excuses for themselves. It takes a lot of discipline and endurance for a person to get up at dawn and put on their running shoes. It takes even more to push through on windy days or after a long week of work. The person that does not make any excuses for themselves and shows up on race day will be truly glad that they never gave in to the pain.

I Knew That He Loved Me

September 16, 2009 on 5:05 am | By admin | In Sports

My father was a very quiet man. He didn’t talk much, and he definitely didn’t express his emotions. But I knew that he loved me nonetheless. He took me to the golf course every week, and it was there that we bonded. I remember him handing me one of his best Wilson golf clubs, standing behind me, and teaching me how to swing. When he wrapped his arms around me and placed his hands over mine on the club, I felt like the most important person in the world. Even when there were others behind us waiting, he took the time to really help me.

The boys are back in town

September 9, 2009 on 8:05 am | By admin | In Sports

‘The boys are back in town’ goes the first line of that song.  Well, here they are back in town for the motor cycle racing holidays.  We have a race circuit near hear and when the races are on the whole area is mobbed.  It is great that it is so busy and the local shops and hotels all thrive at these busy times.  The downside is that the police are always much busier due to a variety of crimes going on.  Everything from drink driving to stealing garden gnomes and anything in between seems to be the order of the day for some of these hooligans.
