East v West

Trying to decide where to go on my holiday was probably the most difficult part of the entire trip. East Coast or West Coast. What a decision to make. It actually got to the point where I had to flip a coin, heads was West, Tails was East. After the very scientific decision making process, I was off to Florida! Spontaneous Week-end away

About a month ago or so, I decided very spontaneously one weekend that I’d like to go to the Drakensburg for a bit of a break. I hired a vehicle from car rental south africa and set off. I stayed at a stunning little hotel which was terrific on its own. I also got to experience a hiking trail that words cannot describe, they call it “Worlds View” because at the end of the trail, its as if you can see the whole world. Being spontaneous for once was a good idea and I will try it again sometime.

Our Anniversary Was Spent In A Luxury Villa St Remy de Provence

We had decided to do our twenty fifth anniversary in a way that we would never forget.  We reserved the luxury villa st remy de provence called Bambou for our family.  Both daughters and their families agreed to come with us to help us celebrate.  Each couple had our own bedroom and the kids all had to share a bedroom.  They had more room than they did at home.  We were all able to be together for the anniversary and at the same time we had the space to get away and enjoy our own privacy.  The kids got to be together and we got of grandparent time.
