East v West

October 1, 2009 on 2:13 am | By admin | In Travel

Trying to decide where to go on my holiday was probably the most difficult part of the entire trip. East Coast or West Coast. What a decision to make. It actually got to the point where I had to flip a coin, heads was West, Tails was East. After the very scientific decision making process, I was off to Florida! I had booked my hotel through and online site so I figured I may as well sort out my car rental in the same way. I arrived to a scorching 105 degree day in Miami, I got my car and headed straight my hotel to get changed and head to the beach.

Stay at the Most Fantastic B+B in Cavan

September 26, 2009 on 12:18 am | By admin | In Travel

There is this fantastic B+B in Cavan called Mundy’s Ford House. This is the place that you want to stay if you are taking a holiday or have to do business in Cavan. You will find that the staff is lovely and the food is great. What’s more, you will feel so relaxed and taken care of that you will not miss your ‘real’ home at all and you will want to come back again and again. I know that my family unanimously agrees that this is the only place worth staying in Ireland, and with four kids, our family rarely agrees with anything.

Finding The Best UK Flights Online

September 12, 2009 on 2:11 am | By admin | In Travel

The old school way of finding great flights is gone and the new way is here to stay.  I cannot imagine dealing with a travel agent every time you wanted to fly out of the country.  For a lot of people it might not be that big of a deal since they do not leave very often.  However, for me it would be terrible.  The UK Flights that I am looking at are just what I have been looking for.  The site gives me great prices, and many options to choose from each time that I need to go.  I am so grateful for this site.

Spontaneous Week-end away

September 3, 2009 on 7:55 am | By admin | In Travel

About a month ago or so, I decided very spontaneously one weekend that I’d like to go to the Drakensburg for a bit of a break. I hired a vehicle from car rental south africa and set off. I stayed at a stunning little hotel which was terrific on its own. I also got to experience a hiking trail that words cannot describe, they call it “Worlds View” because at the end of the trail, its as if you can see the whole world. Being spontaneous for once was a good idea and I will try it again sometime.

September 3, 2009 on 2:07 am | By admin | In Travel

We had decided to do our twenty fifth anniversary in a way that we would never forget.  We reserved the luxury villa st remy de provence called Bambou for our family.  Both daughters and their families agreed to come with us to help us celebrate.  Each couple had our own bedroom and the kids all had to share a bedroom.  They had more room than they did at home.  We were all able to be together for the anniversary and at the same time we had the space to get away and enjoy our own privacy.  The kids got to be together and we got of grandparent time.
