Soaps become a primary commodity during the Middle Ages when the secret of making soap started. During the colonial period, women regularly made soap every fall. These are made of gel like substances and they kept it in barrels and this was the time when soaps started to be produced in volume that people already became fond of buying soaps than making their own. Thus, the start of marketing the beauty bars.
