Wine Friendly Family is a Blessing

I consider my in-laws to be the ultimate wine connoisseurs. They have a basement wine cellar which houses over 500 bottles of domestic and imported wines. They keep a large stock of what they call their “house wine” but is essentially a mid-priced Merlot they favor. Their wine refrigerator is as large as their conventional one and they can tell you more than you might ever want to know about most wines. The benefit to me is that I learn something new at every meal. In fact, last night they served a fantastic Castilla y Leon Wine which I was surprised to find was a white wine, as that region is much more well known for their reds. Thanks Mom and Dad!
