They pay you a specific low rate of pay for your training. Throughout your training, you attend “work” each day during your normal working hours. You will go through all of the fundamental skills you need to know because when you go to take your practical exam, you will choose one or two skills to be tested on, and you won’t know which ones you will be tested on until you draw the cards. Passing the written portion is easy enough and soon you will be an STNA.
