Pt. Reyes Lighthouse is Just 30 Minutes from Bodega Bay!

One of the things that surprised me the most is how centrally located Bodega Bay is! We went to the beautiful and dramatic Pt. Reyes lighthouse yesterday. It was a scenic coastal drive along Highway One. Pt. Reyes National Seashore encompasses over 32,000 acres of coastal parkland, and the lighthouse is one of the features of the park. It’s a little bit of a hike, but not too far and totally worth the effort. Make sure and bring a jacket though, as is the case with any lighthouse, it’s exposed and can be very windy!
